Stanford to get rid of needing ACT/SAT essay ratings

University joins Harvard, Yale, other people in waiving requirement

On Thursday, Washington Post stated that, starting in autumn 2019, Stanford and Princeton will not any longer require applicants to submit an ACT or essay score that is SAT. They join the ranks of Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth and University of hillcrest in waiving the necessity this season.

University representative E.J. Miranda had written in a message to your frequent that an ACT or SAT essay score remains “strongly recommended,” despite no more being required.
