Enloe Magnet High charity ball 2013 raises $62,000

Enloe Magnet High hosted its 9th charity ball at Marbles Kids Museum on December 14. Students raised $62,000 with the ball to benefit SAFEchild, a charity that offers parent education and support services to families to prevent child abuse and neglect. Students were joined at the ball by Nancy Bromhal, the Development Director of SAFEchild of Wake County and Cristin DeRonja, the Director of the SAFEchild Advocacy Center.

Enloe Student Council originally made a pledge to honor SAFEchild by raising $50,000. Thanks to thousands of donors, attendees, students, teachers and administrators and with the help of SAFEchild and Marbles Kids Museum, the school presented SAFEchild with a check for $62,000 at the ball.
