WCPSS Teacher of the Year Semi-Finalists Named

The 24 semi-finalists for Wake County Public School System’s 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year award have been selected. The teachers were recognized by their peers for dedication to children as well as each teacher’s quest for professional and personal excellence.

A reception will be held on April 13 to honor the semi-finalists and name the 12 finalists. The Wake County Public School System’s 2011-12 Teacher of the Year will be named at the annual banquet to be held on May 12.
