SS12: Magnet Themes for Wendell and Zebulon Elementary Magnet Schools

In May 2007, the Board of Education completed an extensive review of the Magnet Program. The Board of Education decided that Wendell Elementary and Zebulon Elementary should not continue as Equity Magnets and should become application magnets that help achieve the three primary goals of the Magnet Program. Those goals are the reduction of high concentrations of poverty, maximizing use of school facilities, and providing expanded educational opportunities.

The Board of Education will review various options for use of the campus.
