Proposed Names for New Schools

Staff will propose names for five new schools and a new name for one school.

Status of Life Cycle and Major Renovation Projects

Staff will provide an overview of current and future facility requirements for existing facilities. Information will include status of bond funded projects for existing facilities and unfunded needs for life cycle and major renovation projects.

2012-2013 Instructional Calendars (Traditional, Modified, and Year-Round

The calendar law has changed and the new number of instructional days has increase to 185 and the number of workdays has decreased by five.

Revisions to Board Policy 1800: Board Advisory Councils

The Board of Education will review and discuss a proposed change to Policy 1800.

Recommendation for Changes to Board Policy 3021: Retention, Career Status, and Promotion

Staff will review the proposed changes.

Recommendation for Changes to Board Policy 3233: Action Plans

Staff will review the proposed changes.
